THE COURSE
70.3 miles.
Three acts.
We mirror the Ironman 70.3 Boulder route as closely as terrain and traffic allow. Bring a GPX file, a sense of humor, and someone who'll hand you a Coke at mile 100.

Boulder Reservoir
A single-loop open-water swim from the boat ramp. Start before sunrise. Expect cold, calm water, and the rim of the Front Range lighting up in pink as you stroke.

Into the Foothills
Out of T1 you head west and up. Rolling pavement through ranchland, then a steady grinding climb into the foothills with switchbacks, headwinds, and the kind of descents that make you remember every brake-pad replacement you skipped.

Home to Boulder
Two laps along the Boulder Creek Path, finishing with the Flatirons over your shoulder and Pearl Street five blocks away. A pint is waiting.
