ROCKY MAN
70.3

CELEBRATING 30 YEARS ON THIS PLANET

A DIY half-iron in the shadow of the Flatirons. I'm turning 30, and instead of a party I'm hosting a DIY half-iron. No expo. No finish-line confetti. Just you, the Reservoir, the Rockies, and 70.3 miles to celebrate with me.

THE OCCASION

30

A birthday party
disguised as a triathlon.

This race is my 30th birthday. Most people throw a party — I'm throwing 70.3 miles between me and a cold beer, and I want my favorite people on the start line with me. Whether you're crushing your first half-iron or just here for the finish-line pint, you're invited. Bring a story, bring a friend, bring sunscreen.

THE RACE

Half the distance.
All the suffering.

The Rocky MAN 70.3 mirrors the legendary Ironman 70.3 Boulder course — without the wristbands, expo tents, or six-hundred-dollar entry fee. Show up at the Reservoir at dawn. Swim. Bike into the foothills. Run back to town. Buy your own beer.

  • Self-supported, self-timed, self-believed
  • Do the full 70.3, a single leg, or join a relay team
  • Bring your own nutrition, bike, and grit
  • A finisher's pint at the host pub in downtown Boulder
  • All proceeds cover swag and a finish-line party

Not ready for the full 70.3? Pick swim+bike, bike+run, just the run, or grab friends for a relay. The only rule is to challenge yourself.
